How it works:

Foreign citizens who are not residents of EAEU member states (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia) are eligible for a VAT refund under the following conditions:

• Minimum purchase amount: 78,640 KZT (approx. 128 USD)

• Refund form issued: on the same day of purchase, in participating stores (look for the Global Blue sticker)

• Export deadline: goods must be taken out of Kazakhstan within 90 days

• Eligible goods: new, unused items carried in personal luggage (hand baggage)

The refund is processed after customs validation at the point of departure from Kazakhstan.
